Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 35,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles de La Fosse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Christ et les pélerins d'Emmaüs in September 2020 with an auction result of EUR 370,000.00.
