Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Artcurial held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, which included the work Le Christ En Croix by Charles de La Fosse. The price achieved of EUR 8,450.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles de La Fosse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Christ et les pélerins d'Emmaüs in September 2020 with an auction result of EUR 370,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Christ En Croix von Charles de La Fosse zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 8.450,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles de La Fosse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Christ et les pélerins d'Emmaüs im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 370.000,00.
