A top price for Charles Claude Dauphin - as previously expected
In November 2006 Christies in Milan held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work Allegoria Del Tempo; E Minerva Vincitrice by Charles Claude Dauphin. The price achieved of EUR 37,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Allegoria Del Tempo; E Minerva Vincitrice is the most expensive artwork by Charles Claude Dauphin that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2006 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Allegoria Del Tempo; E Minerva Vincitrice von Charles Claude Dauphin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 37.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Allegoria Del Tempo; E Minerva Vincitrice das teuerste Kunstwerk von Charles Claude Dauphin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
