Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective, which included the work The Village by Charles Alexandre Picart Le Doux. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,174.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by Charles Alexandre Picart Le Doux have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2002 the work A farmhouse in a Provencale landscape was auctioned for GBP 822.50 (€ 1,351.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Village von Charles Alexandre Picart Le Doux zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.174,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Charles Alexandre Picart Le Doux konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Januar 2002 die Arbeit A farmhouse in a Provencale landscape für GBP 822,50 (€ 1.351,37) versteigert.
