Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Saint Jean Prêchant by Charles Adrien Prosper d'Epinay was sold in the Terracotta auction at Artcurial in Paris in June 2021. The price achieved of EUR 1,300.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Adrien Prosper d'Epinay achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De Sarah Bernhardt En Hermione in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 130,000.00.
