In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction The Hoarder: Part III, which included the work Girls Doing Lunch by Chantal Joffe. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,520.41), 47% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Chantal Joffe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Mother and Child) in September last year with an auction result of USD 90,720.00 (€ 92,732.29).

Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Hoarder: Part III durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girls Doing Lunch von Chantal Joffe zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.820,00 (€ 10.520,41) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chantal Joffe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Mother and Child) im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 90.720,00 (€ 92.732,29).
