A top price for Cesare Viazzi - as previously expected
The work Valchiria by Cesare Viazzi was auctioned at Christies in Rome in November 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,736.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Valchiria is the most expensive artwork by Cesare Viazzi that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Valchiria von Cesare Viazzi kam im November 2005 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.736,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Valchiria das teuerste Kunstwerk von Cesare Viazzi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
