Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2000 Christies in Milan held the auction Arte del XX secolo, which included the work Scimmia volante by Cesare Tacchi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of ITL 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00, the actual price achieved of ITL 822,500.00 (€ 705.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Tacchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il Letto (Pensando A Un Prato..!) in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 183,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2000 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Arte del XX secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scimmia volante von Cesare Tacchi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von ITL 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von ITL 822.500,00 (€ 705,40) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesare Tacchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il Letto (Pensando A Un Prato..!) im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 183.000,00.
