Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Come È Liscia La Tua Pellesigned, Titled And Dated 1965 On The Reverse, Ink On Padded Fabric And Nails On Board. This Work Is Registered In The Archivio Cesare Tacchi, Rome, Under N Qr1965_000016 And It Is Accompanied By A Photo-Certificate Issued By The by Cesare Tacchi. The price achieved of EUR 47,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cesare Tacchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Il Letto (Pensando A Un Prato..!), which sold at auction in November 2015 for EUR 183,000.00.

This Work Is Registered In The Archivio Cesare Tacchi, Rome, Under N Qr1965_000016 And It Is Accompanied By A Photo-Certificate Issued By The von Cesare Tacchi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 47.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Cesare Tacchi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Il Letto (Pensando A Un Prato..!) beobachtet, die im November 2015 für EUR 183.000,00 versteigert wurde.
