Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Laurenti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In the Nursery in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 52,875.00 (€ 62,536.96).

Die Arbeit Il Riposo von Cesare Laurenti wurde im Juni 2005 in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.472,00 und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesare Laurenti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In the Nursery im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.875,00 (€ 62.536,96).
