Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Romeo and Juliet by Cesare Fantacchiotti was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2014. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 18,024.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cesare Fantacchiotti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pandora in April 2005 with an auction result of USD 96,000.00 (€ 74,309.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Romeo and Juliet von Cesare Fantacchiotti kam im April 2014 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 18.024,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cesare Fantacchiotti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pandora im April 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 96.000,00 (€ 74.309,16).
