Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ginette by César was auctioned at Christies in Paris in December this year. The price achieved of EUR 138,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by César have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Compression "Zim"Compressed Car in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 627,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ginette von César kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 138.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von César auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Compression "Zim"Compressed Car im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 627.000,00.
