A top price for Kees Boendermaker - as previously expected
In June 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Tulips in a vase by Kees Boendermaker. The price achieved of EUR 1,195.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Tulips in a vase is the most expensive artwork by Kees Boendermaker that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tulips in a vase von Kees Boendermaker zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.195,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Tulips in a vase das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kees Boendermaker, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
