Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Bonhams in New York held the auction The Gift of Photographs, which included the work The President John F. Kennedy Family, Palm Beach by Cecil William Stoughton. The price achieved of USD 1,024.00 (€ 925.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by Cecil William Stoughton have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October this year the work President John F. Kennedy and Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy at the White House was auctioned for USD 1,280.00 (€ 1,211.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion The Gift of Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit The President John F. Kennedy Family, Palm Beach von Cecil William Stoughton zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.024,00 (€ 925,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Cecil William Stoughton konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres die Arbeit President John F. Kennedy and Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy at the White House für USD 1.280,00 (€ 1.211,20) versteigert.
