When the work Winter Moon, 1970s by Cassius Clay Sr was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in October 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 1,275.00 (€ 1,103.70).
