Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Torso Turning by Carolyn Mulholland was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,275.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Carolyn Mulholland have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2007 the work Figures Passing was auctioned for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 11,668.03).
