Despite a disappointment, a good price for Caroline Sillars
This work of art by Caroline Sillars could be acquired at Christies in London in April 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Daisies changed hands for GBP 212.50 (€ 270.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Despite this disappointing result, Daisies is the most expensive artwork by Caroline Sillars that we have observed at auction so far.
