A top price for Caroline Achaintre
In March 2017 Christies in London held the auction Handpicked: 100 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery, which included the work Moustache-Eagle by Caroline Achaintre. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,521.70). With this result, Moustache-Eagle is even the most expensive work of art by Caroline Achaintre that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im März 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Handpicked: 100 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery durch, in der auch die Arbeit Moustache-Eagle von Caroline Achaintre zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.521,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Moustache-Eagle sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Caroline Achaintre, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
