Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spazio Anche Più Che Tempo by Carol Rama was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in June 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 52,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Carol Rama have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Arcadia (Ti Amo… Ti Amo) in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 236,750.00 (€ 277,447.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spazio Anche Più Che Tempo von Carol Rama kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 52.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carol Rama auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Arcadia (Ti Amo… Ti Amo) im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 236.750,00 (€ 277.447,63).
