Sold at the lower estimate price
In May 2021 Christies in Milan held the auction Reborn: Modern and Contemporary, which included the work Bricolage by Carol Rama. The result of EUR 15,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carol Rama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Arcadia (Ti Amo… Ti Amo) in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 236,750.00 (€ 277,447.63).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Reborn: Modern and Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bricolage von Carol Rama zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 15.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carol Rama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Arcadia (Ti Amo… Ti Amo) im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 236.750,00 (€ 277.447,63).
