Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carol Hepper could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Piet and Ida Sanders Collection auction, the work Concentric Shift changed hands for EUR 312.50 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Carol Hepper have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2013 by the work Maquette 5 at EUR 437.50.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carol Hepper konnte im April 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Piet and Ida Sanders Collection wechselte die Arbeit Concentric Shift für EUR 312,50 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Carol Hepper wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2013 die Arbeit Maquette 5 mit EUR 437,50.
