Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Don Juan aux enfers by Carlos Schwabe was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in November last year. The price achieved of EUR 5,248.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlos Schwabe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Porte d’or in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 225,000.00 (€ 263,859.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Don Juan aux enfers von Carlos Schwabe kam im November letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.248,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlos Schwabe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Porte d’or im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 225.000,00 (€ 263.859,15).
