In March 2006 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Pictures including Russian Pictures, which included the work Vessels On A Dutch Waterway by Carlos de Haes. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,000.00 (€ 12,895.38), 29% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Carlos de Haes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paisaje Montañoso in October 2004 with an auction result of EUR 53,775.00.

Im März 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Pictures including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vessels On A Dutch Waterway von Carlos de Haes zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.000,00 (€ 12.895,38) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlos de Haes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paisaje Montañoso im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 53.775,00.
