Despite a disappointment, a good price for Carlo Verdecchia
In June 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Chiesa Di Paese by Carlo Verdecchia for EUR 1,200.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture at Sothebys in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Chiesa Di Paese is the most expensive artwork by Carlo Verdecchia that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Carlo Verdecchia
Im Juni 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Chiesa Di Paese von Carlo Verdecchia für EUR 1.200,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture bei Sothebys in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Chiesa Di Paese das teuerste Kunstwerk von Carlo Verdecchia, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
