Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures, which included the work The Old Mariner; And The Mariner'S Wife by Carlo Pellegrini. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,188.98) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Carlo Pellegrini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Adelboden in January 2016 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,365.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Old Mariner; And The Mariner'S Wife von Carlo Pellegrini zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.188,98) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlo Pellegrini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Adelboden im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.365,68).
