In December 2005 Christies in London held the auction JOHN FRANKS COLL. OF ORIGINAL WATERCOLOURS FOR VANITY FAIR, which included the work The Earl of Clarendon Politician by Carlo Pellegrini. Other works by Carlo Pellegrini have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,365.68) in January 2016 for the work Adelboden.
