Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Sothebys in Milan held the auction 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture, which included the work La Guardiana Delle Oche by Carlo Mancini. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,360.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Carlo Mancini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paesaggio fluviale in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 16,120.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Guardiana Delle Oche von Carlo Mancini zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.360,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlo Mancini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paesaggio fluviale im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.120,00.
