Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Riposo nella fuga in Egitto by Carlo Francesco Nuvolone was auctioned at Il Ponte in April 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 34,000.00 – 35,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 30,000.00. Other works by Carlo Francesco Nuvolone have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in January 2014 by the work Lot And His Daughters; Neptune And Amphitrite at USD 68,750.00 (€ 50,925.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Riposo nella fuga in Egitto von Carlo Francesco Nuvolone im April 2018 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 34.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 30.000,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Carlo Francesco Nuvolone wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Januar 2014 die Arbeit Lot And His Daughters; Neptune And Amphitrite mit USD 68.750,00 (€ 50.925,93).
