Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Port of Savona by Carlo Ferrari was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2007. The price achieved of GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,884.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Ferrari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Piazza Delle Erbe A Verona in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 147,150.00.

Die Arbeit The Port of Savona von Carlo Ferrari kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.640,00 (€ 3.884,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Ferrari erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Piazza Delle Erbe A Verona im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 147.150,00.
