In May 2017 Il Ponte held the auction 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work Il Monte Pelmo by Carlo Costantino Tagliabue. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,800.00 40% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Costantino Tagliabue - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Il Monte Pelmo, 1906, which sold at auction in November 2002 for EUR 6,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2017 führte Il Ponte die Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Il Monte Pelmo von Carlo Costantino Tagliabue zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.800,00 und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Costantino Tagliabue mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Il Monte Pelmo, 1906 beobachtet, die im November 2002 für EUR 6.200,00 versteigert wurde.
