Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2006 Phillips in New York held the auction Design & Design Art, which included the work Rare chair by Carlo Bugatti. Here, the upper estimate of USD 16,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,200.00 (€ 12,275.52). Admittedly, works by Carlo Bugatti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work FAUTEUIL, 1902 in December 2019 with an auction result of EUR 72,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2006 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Design & Design Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rare chair von Carlo Bugatti zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 16.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.200,00 (€ 12.275,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlo Bugatti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit FAUTEUIL, 1902 im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 72.500,00.
