A top price for Carlo Balestrini - as previously expected
The work Lungo il sentiero by Carlo Balestrini was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction at Christies in Rome in June 2004. The price achieved of EUR 8,680.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Lungo il sentiero is the most expensive artwork by Carlo Balestrini that we have observed at auctions so far.
