The work “Industrirestauranten” by Carla Thonsgaard was sold in the Modern art and design auction at Bruun Rasmussen in February this year. It achieved a price of DKK 12,500.00 (€ 1,678.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carla Thonsgaard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work “Cassa Amore”, which sold at auction in January 2024 for DKK 4,200.00 (€ 3,670.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit “Industrirestauranten” von Carla Thonsgaard wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von DKK 12.500,00 (€ 1.678,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Carla Thonsgaard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit “Cassa Amore” beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für DKK 4.200,00 (€ 3.670,69) versteigert wurde.
