In November 2004 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale, which included the work Carla Arocha (Venezuelan B. 1961) by Carla Arocha. The price achieved of USD 6,572.50 (€ 4,957.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Carla Arocha have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2018 the work Untitled (Gold) was auctioned for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,721.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2004 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Carla Arocha (Venezuelan B. 1961) von Carla Arocha zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.572,50 (€ 4.957,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Carla Arocha konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2018 die Arbeit Untitled (Gold) für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.721,50) versteigert.
