In November 2019 Grisebach held the auction Herbst 2019 - Kunst des 19. Jahrhunderts, which included the work „Borkum“. by Carl Wuttke. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,500.00 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Wuttke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Great Umayyad Mosque, Damascus in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,725.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im November 2019 führte Grisebach die Auktion Herbst 2019 - Kunst des 19. Jahrhunderts durch, in der auch die Arbeit „Borkum“. von Carl Wuttke zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.500,00 und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Wuttke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Great Umayyad Mosque, Damascus im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 30.725,81).
