Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carl Wilhelm Nordgren could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm auction, the work Self portrait changed hands for SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,369.75) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Wilhelm Nordgren have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Greve Klas Axel Lewenhaupt" (1757-1808) in December 2021 with an auction result of SEK 70,000.00 (€ 6,828.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Wilhelm Nordgren konnte im Juni 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm wechselte die Arbeit Self portrait für SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.369,75) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Wilhelm Nordgren auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Greve Klas Axel Lewenhaupt" (1757-1808) im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 70.000,00 (€ 6.828,06).
