Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,140.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Weber - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Ship In The Fog, which sold at auction in June 2016 for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,665.34).
