In June 2011 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm, which included the work Man with grand star by Carl Viertel. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 5,200.00 (€ 567.87), 49% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Carl Viertel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Jacob Otto Cronstedt" (1766-1828) & "Ulrika Eleonora Cronstedt" (born Wrangel af Sauss) (1768-1829) in June 2015 with an auction result of SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,808.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 49 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2011 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit Man with grand star von Carl Viertel zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 5.200,00 (€ 567,87) und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Viertel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Jacob Otto Cronstedt" (1766-1828) & "Ulrika Eleonora Cronstedt" (born Wrangel af Sauss) (1768-1829) im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.808,86).
