This artwork by Carl Schuch achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2007. In the Old Master Paintings from the Collection of Jacques Goudstikker auction, the work A wooded landscape with cut down trees lying in an open field sold for EUR 23,050.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Schuch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Ingwertopf mit Orangenhälfte“. in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 287,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Schuch erzielte im November 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings from the Collection of Jacques Goudstikker wurde die Arbeit A wooded landscape with cut down trees lying in an open field für EUR 23.050,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Schuch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Ingwertopf mit Orangenhälfte“. im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 287.500,00.
