The work “Teckenstod”, 1966 by Carl Otto Hultén was sold in the Modern art and design auction at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year. The result of DKK 6,000.00 (€ 804.89) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Otto Hultén have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Blått samlag" in November 2018 with an auction result of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,882.36).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit “Teckenstod”, 1966 von Carl Otto Hultén wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 6.000,00 (€ 804,89) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Otto Hultén auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Blått samlag" im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 3.882,36).
