Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included the work “På gång framför muren”, 1947 by Carl Otto Hultén. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 4,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 4,200.00 (€ 563.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Carl Otto Hultén have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Blått samlag" in November 2018 with an auction result of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,882.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch die Arbeit “På gång framför muren”, 1947 von Carl Otto Hultén zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 4.200,00 (€ 563,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Otto Hultén auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Blått samlag" im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 3.882,36).
