Despite a disappointment, a good price for Carl Otto Czeschka
When the work Youth with Amor by Carl Otto Czeschka was auctioned at Christies in New York in February 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 600.00 – 800.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 312.50 (€ 226.56). Despite this disappointing result, Youth with Amor is the most expensive artwork by Carl Otto Czeschka that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Youth with Amor von Carl Otto Czeschka im Februar 2011 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
