Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Carl Moos achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in January 2011. In the The Ski Sale auction, the work Chocolat Klaus sold for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,104.27) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Moos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work St. Moritz in January 2015 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 39,927.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Moos erzielte im Januar 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Ski Sale wurde die Arbeit Chocolat Klaus für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.104,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Moos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit St. Moritz im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 39.927,37).
