This artwork by Carl Ludwig Hackert achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2007. In the Exploration and Travel auction, the work Vue de la Valée de Chamouny pris près d'Argentiere sold for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,688.61) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Ludwig Hackert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A View of Lausanne, which sold at auction in October 2012 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,324.93).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Ludwig Hackert erzielte im September 2007 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Exploration and Travel wurde die Arbeit Vue de la Valée de Chamouny pris près d'Argentiere für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.688,61) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Ludwig Hackert mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A View of Lausanne beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.324,93) versteigert wurde.
