Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work A Peasant Girl by a Window by Carl Herpfer for USD 3,585.00 (€ 3,659.66). This price was achieved in the auction THE HOUSE SALE at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Herpfer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Evening's Entertainment in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 160,000.00 (€ 171,526.59).

Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An Evening's Entertainment im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 160.000,00 (€ 171.526,59).
