Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Carl Gustav Klingstedt was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2005. The price achieved of GBP 360.00 (€ 533.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 400.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Gustav Klingstedt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Kitchen Galanterie, Circa 1720, which sold at auction in December 2019 for GBP 1,187.00 (€ 1,402.90).

Die Arbeit Unknown von Carl Gustav Klingstedt kam im Juni 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 360,00 (€ 533,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 400,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Gustav Klingstedt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Kitchen Galanterie, Circa 1720 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2019 für GBP 1.187,00 (€ 1.402,90) versteigert wurde.
