Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Alpine landscape with river by Carl Fredrik Hill was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 46,000.00 (€ 4,123.57). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Fredrik Hill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Det blommande fruktträdet" in June 2010 with an auction result of SEK 9,200,000.00 (€ 964,836.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Alpine landscape with river von Carl Fredrik Hill im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 46.000,00 (€ 4.123,57) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Fredrik Hill erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Det blommande fruktträdet" im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 9.200.000,00 (€ 964.836,06).
