This artwork by Carl Frederik Aagaard achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in April 2019. In the The Golden Age of Danish Painting auction, the work Vue Des Møns Klint sold for EUR 3,900.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Frederik Aagaard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mossy Rocks in a Stream, which sold at auction in October 2005 for USD 18,000.00 (€ 15,006.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 95 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Frederik Aagaard erzielte im April 2019 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Golden Age of Danish Painting wurde die Arbeit Vue Des Møns Klint für EUR 3.900,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Frederik Aagaard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mossy Rocks in a Stream beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für USD 18.000,00 (€ 15.006,25) versteigert wurde.
