Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Musicians at Philae by Carl Friedrich Heinrich Werner was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2019. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 10,979.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Friedrich Heinrich Werner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Wailing Wall, Jerusalem in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 499,000.00 (€ 591,180.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Musicians at Philae von Carl Friedrich Heinrich Werner kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 10.979,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Friedrich Heinrich Werner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Wailing Wall, Jerusalem im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 499.000,00 (€ 591.180,23).
