Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2003 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work Eine politische Diskussion by Carl Bernhard Schloesser. The price achieved of EUR 3,585.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Carl Bernhard Schloesser have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2003 the work Playing The Piano was auctioned for USD 5,975.00 (€ 4,743.19).
